MOOD BOARD

Collage of images with models, cosmetics, and colors.

LUXURIOUS MYSTERIOUS CALMING

These three words describe the company’s desired attributes and a mood board was put together to create a sense of direction moving forward.

Imagery: These images are meant to show a prestigious nature to the brand, while evoking a sense of mystery and tranquility.

Typography: A thin, serif typeface can help portray elegance.

Color Palette:

Off-Black: Represents authority and luxury. Creates a sense of professionalism and prestige for your products.

Yellow: Gives the brand some vibrancy and looks similar to gold, which can symbolize wealth.

Purple: Spirituality and mystery. Makes the company look more unique and sophisticated, while giving it some personality as well.

I experimented with a few typefaces and attempted to customize the logotype with a symbol.

Three columns of different typefaces with the logo name.

Here’s where we landed with the logo’s symbol.

Math equation with images explaining the logo.

Several color combinations were tested using the company’s brand colors.

Three by three grid of yellow and purple logos.

The symbol was isolated and I created a monogram as well.

I implemented the logo into this stylescape to help further communicate where the brand is going.

For the packaging, I close-cropped the symbol to simulate a background texture and positioned it in a way that divided the words in half.

I also added a gold trim as a subtle contrasting element to the other graphics.
